10th Latin American and Caribbean Conference on Social Sciences CLACSO -2025

From June 9 to 12, 2025, the 10th Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences was held in Bogotá, under the theme “Horizons and Transformations for Equality.”

The Latin American and Caribbean Conference on Social Sciences is the largest academic and political gathering in the social sciences and humanities worldwide. Previous editions took place in Recife, Brazil (1999); Guadalajara, Mexico (2001); Havana, Cuba (2003); Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2006); Cochabamba, Bolivia (2009); Mexico City, Mexico (2012); Medellín, Colombia (2015); Buenos Aires, Argentina (2018); and Mexico City, Mexico (2022). 

With an estimated attendance of 15,000 participants and 24,000 hotel room nights generated, the economic impact reached approximately USD 8.5 million.
